While down in town after lunch, I ran into a person who had just driven past the coastline near Whittington Park. He reported discolored water off the coast. So of course I had to go take a look. Yup. Sure enough, a broad channel of slightly discolored, brownish water was streaming down the coastline. I took photos, but it's very difficult to make out the discolored water. It was easier to see in person. I'm no scientist, but I wonder if sediment from the multiple underwater earthquakes has been taken up in the passing ocean current and is now passing by the island. Possibly.
